As a motivated teenager, Estha joined a gym at the ripe old age of 15 with the aim of
shedding a few kilos. She adopted a disciplined work out routine that included weight training, circuit classes and some boxing. Along with a healthier eating plan, Estha was able
to lose ten kilos and return to a healthy size ten from a size fourteen.
From these early beginnings, Estha has gone onto forge a fruitful career within the fitness
and health industry. With explosive energy and a “never say die attitude”, Estha has taken
on traditionally male sports and succeeded in mastering them. Such sports included boxing
and kickboxing in which she went on to win her first amateur boxing tournament at age 19!
Recognising a need to increase her strength to enhance her sporting performance, Estha commenced serious weight training which stimulated her interest in power lifting. She joined
the CAPO federation for power lifting wining Australian titles in her weight division for dead
lift, squat, and bench press.
After 3 years in the sport, Estha suffered a debilitating back injury and had to step back from
competitive power lifting, though she continued with rehabilitation weight training and
teaching her much loved boxing/kickboxing circuits.
With her back much improved, Estha sought her next challenge. She put her hard training
towards another goal where she could once again look back and be proud of her
achievements. Estha chose the physically and mentally challenging sport of bodyscuplting.
Estha has been training for just over 6 months and has recently won her division at the XVIII
Commonwealth Games Bodybuilding Figure and Fitness Championships, in March 2006. She
has since qualified to represent Australia at the WFF Universe Titles to be held in Austria, June
2006. She continues to train at Bell st gym sourcing another challenge!
Estha is an accredited personal trainer gaining and continues to teach boxing circuit at Good Life Health Club in Brunswick..
